Solstice sheds light in so many ways.
Solstice, 2007, another holiday season with our young child and our family traditions are developing. Knowing we would use a small living Norfolk Island Pine to bring a little green inside, which is not a great vehicle for ornament display, I had the brilliant idea of purchasing a "solstice light" to hang in the center of our living space and spread the light and cheer. It was hung with excitement and wishes of memorable family moments for the season.
Sadly, I have not been moved to turn it on since the warning label on the wiring was read days after hanging. Who would have expected this?........and we were concerned about the UL listing!
Is this warning on all holiday lights and I never noticed? Am I the only one wondering why the lead is there?
